Gender based violence is another top concern for women,Gender based violence is one of the most persistent violations of human rights across the globe.Gender based violence increases the risk of HIV,unplanned pregnancies.There are different types of gender based violence;

Physical violence:Intentional use of physical force with the potential for causing death,harm or injury,it includes scratching,pushing,shoving,throwing,grabbing,biting and choking.

Sexual violence:this includes any non-con-sexual sexual act,unwanted sexual comments or advance.

Psychological abuse/violence:any act or omission that damages self-esteem,identity or development of the individual.

Economic abuse/violence:causing or attempting to cause an individual to become financially dependent on another person by obstructing her or his access to or control over an economic activity.

Gender shouldn’t be a factor in whether or not someone can make a great leader,leadership abilities should depend on their individual strengths and personality traits.However in many cases,women are not encouraged to take on leadership roles.Women are great leaders because they are able to balance professional and personal leadership skills.Its easier to approach a woman leader with a personal request.

Women are empathetic and value relationships,this enables them to have a strong understanding of what drives and motivates people.Women make great leaders because they take their time to listen instead of reacting right away.Women are also nurturing in that they are willing and able to help their team members develop their own skills and strength.Women also focus on teamwork,they are also good at multitasking,women dream big and this is one of the aspect of a great leader.WOMEN ARE GREAT LEADERS LETS SUPPORT THEM.

A human-beings body is a temple of God, a rare gift from the creator and that should be a constant reminder that we are made in God’s creation.Women’s body should be respected and not used for money purposes.

The strength of a woman has been a trending topic and very inspiring experience to many women, let’s talk about Mama Pamela of Paradise children’s home in Kibera, she is a mother of orphans and young mothers.They are a total of 50 children and mama Pamela proudly gives them a home, clothes and food and also education.

I was so motived when she openly shared with us that, the husband left her with three of children just because she had started taking care of other children,she even told her to choose between him and the orphans. This challenge was what inspired her to be a mother to the orphans.She is very proud and happy to be with her big Family.

STRENGTH OF A WOMAN

This topic simply means a woman being able to stand up and take care of her responsibilities and be a leader in your community.

The strength of a woman has been a trending topic and inspiring experience to many women, let’s talk about Mama Pamela of Paradise Children Home in Kibera who the husband left her just because she had given home to orphans. That did not stop her from taking of those children, she had to let the husband go and decided the orphans and the young mothers will be her only family. Madam Pamela really motives me that everything is possible,she never knew that after the husband left she would have her own children and a big family.
